About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the production team to ensure efficient and safe operations across multiple shifts.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Coach and develop production managers and team leaders to unlock their full potential.
  5. Implement lean six sigma methodology to drive business improvements and embed a zero-loss mindset.
  6. Manage resources to deliver company production requirements in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  7. Ensure safe working practices are maintained or improved across all production operations.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5-10 years of manufacturing management experience, managing multi-shift teams with a minimum of 100 staff.
  2. Proven experience of delivering sustained productivity and cost improvements while maintaining positive employee relations.
  3. Strong employee engagement with a focus on team building, coaching, and stakeholder management.
  4. Able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire, implement, and drive change.
  5. Minimum 5 years of Lean Six Sigma experience, with a track record of using these skills to drive business improvements.
