Chapman Tate Associates is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic IT Services team specializing in Cloud and Managed Services, including Backup and Cybersecurity.

In this role, you will be integral to bridging the gap between our Technical and Sales teams, assisting existing clients in modernizing and optimizing their IT infrastructures.

Your responsibilities will include delivering strategic consulting and design services focused on Cloud, Server/Storage, Networking, and Virtualization, guiding clients in developing their adoption roadmaps. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you should possess experience with various cloud architectures (Private, Public, and Hybrid) and migration strategies.

You will have a solid understanding of the factors that influence Cloud adoption and will be able to advise clients on making informed decisions.

Your role will involve providing strategic guidance to both internal and external stakeholders regarding pre-sales support, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and design work for IT infrastructure environments. You will serve as a subject matter expert for the Sales Team, collaborating closely with Technical and Sales teams to recommend optimal solutions and processes.

Key Areas of Expertise Required:

Microsoft 365 and Azure:

- Emphasis on security, Endpoint Manager, servers, and the Business Premium/E3 suite.

Virtualization:

- Proficiency in VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.

Storage Solutions:

- Experience with SAN technologies, particularly HP MSA/Nimble and Dell MD.

Operating Systems:

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.

Email Servers:

- Familiarity with Exchange Server.

Database Management:

- Experience with SQL Server.

Networking:

- Proficient in switching technologies, including dynamic routing and VLANs.

Security:

- Skills in firewall management and perimeter security, focusing on next-generation firewalls.

Wi-Fi Solutions:

- Experience with enterprise-grade Wi-Fi systems.

Communication Networks:

- Strong understanding of various communication networks, including leased lines and FTTP.

Your responsibilities will also encompass:

  • Identifying solution opportunities for software, hardware, cloud, and services within the existing customer base and new prospects.
  • Creating comprehensive solution proposals.
  • Collaborating with vendors such as VMware, Microsoft, and HP to explore additional opportunities that benefit clients.
