With a 30-year history, they have recently pivoted their focus to developing software that enables companies to solve storage problems themselves, utilizing their technology.

Job Overview

This is a brand new position for Cathcart Technology, as they grow out their software capabilities. The role involves re-architecting a whole new software solution from scratch, modernizing a monolithic system in Microsoft Azure, and working closely with SQL Server. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the product development lifecycle, driving design, development, and delivery of the software product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a scalable and secure software solution in Microsoft Azure
  • Work closely with the leadership team and other high-calibre engineers to drive product development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and features, prioritizing tasks based on business value and user feedback
  • Develop API's and other technical add-ons to modernize the product

Requirements

  • Background in software architecture and design across Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud
  • Database knowledge in SQL Server
  • API design and development
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and drive product development
