Job Title: Youth Group Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Group Leader to join our team at The Oaklea Trust. As a key member of our youth services team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our youth programmes, ensuring that young people receive high-quality support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop youth programmes, including planning, delivery, and evaluation
  • Work closely with young people, staff, and external partners to ensure effective programme delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including schools, community groups, and other youth organisations
  • Contribute to the development of youth services policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working with young people in a leadership or management capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of youth work principles and practices
