Job Title: Data and Information Officer

Join the General Medical Council (GMC) team as a Data and Information Officer, playing a crucial role in the delivery of a new Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) on SharePoint.

About the Role

This diverse and challenging position requires a detail-oriented individual to provide support to the delivery of the EDRMS project. As a Data and Information Officer, you will work closely with staff to understand which information to migrate and how it needs to be structured, ensuring a secure and user-friendly service for the entire organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct data analysis, attend SharePoint integration workshops, and collate feedback from attendees.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of the new SharePoint EDRMS and its launch and integration within the GMC.
  • Liaise and develop effective relationships with colleagues to ensure the successful running and delivery of the project.
  • Support records management practices within a SharePoint environment, including retention reporting, access control management, and naming conventions.
