Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Policy Planner to assist in the preparation, review, and monitoring of the Liverpool Local Plan and Supplementary Planning Documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of planning policy documents.
- Liaise with local authorities and key stakeholders on strategic planning issues.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, manage project work, and oversee public consultations.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Town Planning (RTPI recognized).
- Experience in urban Local Plan preparation and monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of planning policy legislation and processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
What We Offer:
This is a full-time, temporary assignment offering £37 per hour Umbrella LTD (£29.50 per hour PAYE).
