We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical psychologist to join our team in the Department of Medical Psychology at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the development of psychological provision for cancer services in the area, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and developing a local plan and pathway.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with Cancer Services in the acute hospital trust to determine the needs of these services.
- Conduct one-to-one assessments and interventions, as well as assessments for surgery with guidance and training from the 8B psychologist.
- Develop and run groups, as well as offer complex case discussions and reflective groups within multidisciplinary teams.
- Collate data and work with an assistant to support the role for the first year.
