Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Ultimate Workforce Ltd.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a 12.00-20.00 shift pattern, Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and deliveries to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle checks to be completed daily and to report any defects accordingly
  • Ensure loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
  • Transportation of goods and deliveries to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure all POD's are signed and completed in line with company policy
  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times
  • Follow company procedures and maintain contact with the transport office informing them of potential delays
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
  • 2 years' Class 1 commercial driving experience
  • Excellent Knowledge of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
  • Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
  • Experience of Curtain side and/or Container and Hub run is essential
