Aerospace Estimator

Cheshire Spas & Pools Limited T/A Cheshire Wellness is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs and generating competitive and profitable quotations.

1. Understanding Client Requirements: Thoroughly review project plans, specifications, and drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of material requirements, programme, and project constraints.
2. Obtain Supplier Quotations & Research Costs: Research materials, transport, equipment, and labour costs. Collate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
3. Data Analysis & Calculation: Analyse quotations, historical cost data, industry standards, and market rates to accurately estimate expenses. Assess the levels of risk associated with a project.
4. Preparing Quotations: Create a professional and accurate quotation. Demonstrate breakdown of costs and considerations.
5. Supporting Bids and Contracts: Collaborate closely with Sales Manager, providing essential data and support with bids for new contracts.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a successful Estimator
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within the Construction Industry
• Ability to interpret construction drawings
• Technical understanding of construction principles and trade sequencing
• Strong analytical skills
• Commercially minded
• Attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure to meet set goals, budgets, and deadlines
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, or estimating software
• The ability to manage time well and multitask
