About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Azure Data Consultant to join our team at Cognitive Group | Part of the Focus Cloud Group. As a key member of our data consulting team, you will be responsible for building and leading projects from a technical perspective, ensuring the highest level of quality consistently across delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data warehouses to store and organize large volumes of data, including Lakehouse architectures.
  • Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from different sources.
  • Utilize Python for data analysis and machine learning, as well as Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Implement data visualisation and presentation using Power BI.
  • Apply statistical methods and their application in data analysis and predictive modelling.

Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data warehouses, ETL processes, and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing.
