Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Address client inquiries and provide expert guidance on personal tax issues.
  • Tax Compliance: Supervise the preparation and filing of self-assessment tax returns for a varied client portfolio. Ensure adherence to tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Advisory Services: Deliver tax planning and advisory services, identifying potential tax savings and advising on the ramifications of tax legislation.
  • Team Leadership: Assist the Tax Manager in overseeing and mentoring junior staff. Review the work of junior team members, offering constructive feedback and guidance to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Remain informed about the latest tax laws and developments. Share insights with the team and clients, ensuring they are aware of any changes that may affect their tax situation.
  • Workflow Coordination: Aid in managing the team's workflow, ensuring all deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Business Growth: Contribute to the firm's expansion by identifying new business opportunities and engaging in business development initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prior experience in a personal tax role, preferably at a senior or assistant manager level.
  • Qualifications: ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise in personal tax and compliance. Excellent client management abilities with effective communication skills to build strong relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, mentoring junior staff and contributing to the overall success of the group.
  • Proactive Mindset: A proactive approach to work, with the capability to identify opportunities for clients and the business.
