Location: London or Glasgow
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as an essential member of the business intelligence team, ensuring that data is readily available in appropriate formats for intricate analysis.
- Partnering with the analytics team to conceptualize and develop database solutions that enhance existing data models.
- Overseeing the development and upkeep of integrations and interfaces between the core data warehouse and various external data sources.
- Crafting data models, including facts and dimensions, while supervising the training and growth of team members.
- Proactively offering ideas and solutions to improve current and future processes within the team.
- Engaging in the analytical functions of the team, such as constructing dashboards and data flows, and spearheading the proposal and creation of machine learning and AI solutions.
- Demonstrating a track record of successful delivery in data warehousing and analytics projects, with a strong proficiency in Oracle toolsets and cloud database environments.
- Exhibiting exceptional problem-solving capabilities to tackle both business and technical challenges, along with a solid understanding of SQL, particularly in Oracle databases.
- Experience in maintaining integrations, preferably with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and expertise in data warehouse optimization for Oracle databases.
- Skilled in loading and transforming external data into the data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to quickly build rapport with team members and stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Fusion and/or Fusion Analytics Warehouse within ERP and/or HCM, as well as knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, Smartview, Essbase, or Narrative Reporting, is advantageous.
