Accounts Assistant

We are a nationwide organisation with over 30,000 members across the UK seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team due to expansion. Located at our Head Office in Farnham, you will work as part of the Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Take control of the Sales Ledger and reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Post monthly journals for Payroll, Depreciation, Prepayments, and other adjustments.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and Schedules.
  • Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly Profit & Loss Schedules.
  • Produce the Month End folder.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £30K depending on experience, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for one day a week working from home once trained. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator or Accounts Assistant with a proven track record of working in an office environment and as part of an Accounts team. You will report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant and be responsible for assisting in the production of monthly management accounts.
