SDA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer to join our team at the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of complex engineering programmes.

• Oversee engineering and technical requirements to ensure that supplier requirements align with the Defence Nuclear Enterprise's needs and are effectively delivered.
• Identify solutions to defects and obsolescence in nuclear systems to maintain the intended design integrity.
• Produce and contribute to Engineering Management Plans.
• Provide specialist advice in your technical field to support nuclear delivery as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop and maintain system requirements.
• Participate in the identification, selection, evaluation, performance verification, and demonstrations within your technical area.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

• Hold a relevant HNC (i.e. Level 4 or higher) qualification in Nuclear Engineering or have equivalent relevant experience.
• Have experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful engineering outcomes.
• Have technical experience in your discipline or specialist area in a variety of contexts.
