About the Company:

Our client is redefining the landscape of global freight and logistics solutions, adapting to the dynamic nature of the market. They specialize in customized solutions for various freight movements and related services, supported by cutting-edge IT systems that ensure reliability and peace of mind for their clientele.

Role & Responsibilities of the Ocean Import Operator:

  • Manage deep sea import operations from initiation to completion.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire import process.
  • Provide competitive rates and quotations for both LCL and FCL shipments.
  • Facilitate bookings from the point of origin for LCL and FCL import consignments.
  • Engage with international agents, transport providers, shipping companies, and clients directly.
  • Oversee customs clearance for all import consignments.
  • Generate commercial invoices as required.

Essential Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of experience in ocean freight operations, specifically in import or export.

Familiarity with Cargowise software is advantageous.

Benefits Package:

Salary up to 35,000 (Negotiable)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

25 days of annual leave plus 8 public holidays
