About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Mechanical Process Engineer to join our GMT (Gypsum Manufacturing Technology) team at Saint-Gobain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new gypsum factories, as well as upgrading existing sites with new equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Utilize your mechanical design and AutoDesk Inventor/3D design knowledge to create tender documentation and manage suppliers.
- Project Management: Implement approved capital projects of limited size or delegated sections of larger projects to achieve completion to specification, budget, and program.
- Contractor Management: Manage contractor resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Documentation and Training: Ensure full documentation of all projects and systems, and provide training for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Collaboration: Support Project Managers, Lead Engineers, and Senior Engineers on major projects to deliver installations on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor, comprehensive knowledge of safety management systems and standards, understanding of bulk solid handling and measurement or liquid storage and handling, and proven record of working in a plant within an automated environment.
