Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out engineering activities to ensure the requirements for a product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  2. Develop and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  3. Document and review equipment and process standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. Collaborate with production teams to identify training needs for new and current operators, ensuring a skilled and efficient workforce.
  5. Work closely with quality engineers to investigate instances of poor quality, compile evidence and data for 8D reports, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  1. A degree qualification in an engineering or scientific discipline, such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a relevant manufacturing environment.
  3. A full UK driving license would be beneficial for travel to various sites.
