We are seeking an experienced Tester to join our team in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all new lift installations within our construction portfolio are fully tested and compliant, providing technical support to other Field Test Engineers across the business, and training new Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers in adjusting and commissioning units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough electrical and mechanical testing of lifts and escalators to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers to ensure high-quality installations and maintenance.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve quality control and meet operational requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Hold a National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience.
- Be IT literate with experience in Microsoft applications.
