CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage full scope, development, budgets, resources, and management of NPI or Improvement projects from initiation to production and program completion.
  • Manufacturing Process Development: Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions, working with functional teams, using a range of tools, e.g., process flows, PFMEA's, control plans. Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business.
  • Project Health Monitoring: Monitor and report on project health, including issue management to ensure People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost targets are achieved.
  • Equipment Specification and Installation: Develop equipment specifications and installation requirements, ensuring that the equipment is safe and meets the needs of manufacturing.
  • Supplier Management: Work with facility teams to establish the correct suppliers and manage timelines to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive DFM and best manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Technical or university degree in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering-related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering or design engineering.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of manufacturing operations, technology development, and facility planning. Demonstrated project management skills or contribution to delivery of complex projects both through technology or scale.
  • Experience: Experience in development of manufacturing standards and procedures, and collaborating with other teams to agree joint standards. Manufacturing systems experience, including use of Siemens Teamcenter and/or SAP solutions. Experience with budget management and/or capital project delivery. 3D modelling knowledge using CREO or similar. 6 Sigma Green belt certification or project management qualification.
