Exciting Opportunity for an Accounts & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager

TPF Recruitment is proud to support a client in Hailsham in their search for an experienced Accounts & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with the partners of the firm, providing a wide range of accounting and tax services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Production: Prepare and deliver high-quality accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Company Filings: Manage company filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Company Secretarial: Handle company secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory books and records.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage both corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • VAT Returns: Complete and submit VAT returns for clients.
  • Client Interaction: Directly support one of the practice's directors, liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and preferably IRIS.
  • General Practice Background: Strong background in general practice with extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal taxes.
  • Professional Qualification: Ideally ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
Benefits
  • Salary: Up to £60,500.00 per year
  • Expected Hours: No less than 24 per week
