About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for producing accurate forecasts of project costs, managing subcontractor accounts, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, and providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate project cost forecasts to completion/final value
  • Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure timely payments
  • Monitor and control cash flow and valuation plans to ensure project profitability
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractor tender processes
  • Prepare and provide accurate reports of costs and values on the projects

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 form of contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical works in the water sector is highly desirable

  • A competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
