Position Overview

Exclusive Education is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Support Assistant to join our team at a specialized educational institution. This role involves providing essential support to students with diverse special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting students across various educational stages, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 5.
  • Implementing tailored learning strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Prior experience as a Special Needs Support Assistant.
  • Confidence in working with children across all key stages.
  • Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • A relevant qualification in teaching assistance (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) is desirable.
  • Two professional references from previous roles involving children.
  • A current DBS check registered with the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
