Shift Details

The Maintenance Electrician will be expected to work on a Double Day shift, from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.

Location and Benefits

This position is commutable from various locations. The Maintenance Electrician will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Salary: £42,000
  • Pension Contribution: 10%
  • Holidays: 25+8 days with a holiday buy-back scheme
  • Additional Benefits: Cycle to work scheme, overtime rates, development opportunities, and training.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for:

  • Working within a Manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Utilizing fault-finding skills with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Performing installations of single and three-phase systems.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Facilitating repairs effectively under pressure.
  • Adapting flexibly to various situations as they arise.
  • Collaborating within a team and also working independently.
  • Utilizing IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Gradus CMMS system.
  • Handling building maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications Required

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Apprentice training.
  • Education to HNC level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive electrical knowledge, progressing from 17th to 18th Edition.
  • A full valid UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel to different sites when necessary.
