About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at mbf. as a key member of our financial planning department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support our financial planners in creating comprehensive and personalized financial plans for our clients.
  • Prepare detailed planning recommendations and produce high-quality financial reports that meet the highest standards.
  • Play a crucial role in the preparation and confirmation of annual client reviews, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.
  • Liaise with clients to collect information and provide updates, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest financial products, legislation, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
  • Preferably Diploma-qualified (DipPFS or equivalent) - candidates with relevant experience will be considered without the qualifications.
  • Previous paraplanning experience is essential, with a strong understanding of financial software and tools.
  • Experience with cashflow planning is preferred, as well as strong report-writing and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of financial software, such as cashflow tools, FE Analytics, and report-writing software, is required.
  • Strong understanding of tax and investment products, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
  • Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays) with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
  • Pension: 5% employer contribution + 3% employee (salary sacrifice option available with full employer NI savings passed on).
