Join our team to lead and oversee the Leisure department, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all patrons, particularly in aquatic environments, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Our Holiday Park is renowned for its unique charm, nestled in a picturesque setting, offering a diverse range of facilities and activities year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary role will involve assisting in the management of the leisure facility to maximize revenue while ensuring a top-notch customer experience through a skilled and motivated team.

  • Collaborate with the Leisure Manager and other Duty Managers to actively promote the business, identifying opportunities to enhance sales and customer service.
  • Supervise, train, and inspire team members during shifts to maintain efficient operations and uphold high standards of customer care.
  • Ensure the highest levels of service and safety are maintained within the leisure facility.
  • Oversee the security of the premises, cleanliness, maintenance, plant operations, water quality testing, and stock management, ensuring compliance with established procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Handle financial transactions and cash reconciliation while managing bookings in accordance with regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations, including emergency procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility according to established standards.
  • Monitor the safety and well-being of customers and staff, ensuring appropriate behavior and usage of the facility.

Qualifications and Skills:

While training will be provided, candidates must possess:

  • A valid NPLQ and First Aid at Work certification, along with experience in backwashing and knowledge of COSHH.
  • A solid educational background, ideally at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and strong communication skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.

Desirable:

  • Pool Plant Operator (PPO), National Pool Management Qualification (NPMQ), or equivalent certifications.
  • Fire Warden training.
