Trade Compliance Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with project teams and departments to ensure data management and export control aspects of equipment and technology are correctly managed in accordance with UK and foreign export authorisations.
* Assist with the planning of internal and external audits of trade compliance and export control issues.
* Offer project teams advice and direction to ensure adherence to internal corporate policies and procedures as well as UK Export Control legislation.
* Ensure export control ratings and commodity list classification (CLC) are in place to facilitate compliance with UK export laws.
* Process internal reports and ensure record keeping is completed to guarantee compliance with HMRC laws.
* Provide export clearance documentation and instructions to the Shipping team.

**Requirements:**

* At least 3-5 years of experience within export control/trade compliance.
* Experience with SAP is desirable.
* Understanding of trade compliance considerations for international support programmes within the aerospace and defence industry.
