AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Associate Director Façade Engineer to join our team in London. This is a visible role within our organisation, offering many growth opportunities, both technically and operationally.
Key Responsibilities- Assume general responsibilities for façade consultancy input to a wide range of clients and projects.
- Implement a holistic engineering approach to our projects, encompassing performance, buildability, and aesthetic considerations.
- Develop façade solutions with various façade systems and materials from concept to implementation.
- Oversee and manage the production of engineering analyses, such as thermal, structural, and embodied carbon.
- Develop a detailed understanding of system design considerations, performance analysis of the systems, and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant façade & structural software, e.g., Strand 7, SJ MEPLA, Therm or Flixo, Autocad, Revit.
- Ability to use all Microsoft Office and related packages.
- An architectural, engineering, or building design-related degree.
- A detailed understanding of façade systems and materials.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with a team of experts.
