The Best Connection - Derby is currently recruiting for Night shift HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our client based in the logistics industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global distribution company with full training provided.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly rate: £19.53 per hour for shifts from 20:00 to 04:00
  • Hourly rate: £17.04 per hour for shifts from 04:00 to 20:00
  • Overtime rate: £25.56 per hour after 43.75 hours
  • Minimum paid hours: 8 hours per shift
  • Working week: Nights - Monday to Friday
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate NDC Trunking
  • Liaise with transportation team pre and post shift
  • Adhere to all working time and tachograph regulations
  • Perform pre-vehicle and trailer checks
  • Conduct load checks
  • Complete all related paperwork and debrief information
  • Pull curtains
  • Liaise with loading/unloading customer and security teams
