Job Title: Specialist Mentor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Mentor to join our team at Randstad. As a Specialist Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting university and college students with specific learning disabilities or mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Assist students in developing strategies to manage their time, organization, and anxiety.
  • Help students build on their learning strengths and maintain a confidential and professional working relationship.
  • Work collaboratively with students, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible support.

Requirements:

  • Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., BACP, BPS, HCPC, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify ways to help students build on their learning strengths.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students.
