We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join our team as a Night Nurse in a well-established Nursing Home in Wolverhampton.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, including administering medication, completing daily documentation, and updating client care plans. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the care team and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed medication, including PRN medication, in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete detailed daily documentation and record keeping to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Update client care plans routinely and as required to reflect changes in resident needs.
- Respond to the daily clinical needs of individual residents, providing individualized care and support.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, management, and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Nursing Qualification with NMC Registration.
- Experience in elderly care, with a strong understanding of the needs of older adults.
- Motivated, positive, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of Care Assistants.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning.
