Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, providing detailed analysis and commentary to senior management.
  • Collate and examine purchase and sales ledger information from the centralised accounting department.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounts staff and sales administrators.
  • Provide analytical support across the business, evaluating profit optimisation opportunities.
  • Monitor performance measurement tools and techniques for projects.
  • Review capital and project appraisals.
  • Consolidate group budgets and forecasts.
  • Investigate and analyse financial data as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical and analytical accounting skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in the motor industry.
  • Previous accountancy experience within a car dealership and Kerridge, Pinnacle or similar accounting package.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
