Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate learning support assistant to join our team. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and working with school children, particularly those with additional learning needs (ALN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in all aspects of learning, including aiding children with additional needs.
  • Work with children and adults with additional needs, utilizing good behavior management skills.
  • Hold up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training, issued within the last year.
  • Be willing to engage in physical activities with children, such as sports and outdoor play.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
