About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Consultant to join our flood risk and drainage teams. As a Graduate Consultant, you will assist in a range of activities, including flood risk solution design, hydraulic modelling, and hydrology assessment. You will work on challenging infrastructure projects for private and public sector clients, delivering local authority flood risk schemes and supporting private sector organisations in managing flood risk challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and delivery of flood risk solutions, including hydraulic modelling and hydrology assessment.
  • Work on a range of projects, from flood risk assessments for planning supporting developments to large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to determine client briefs and deliver projects in accordance with best practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's expertise and knowledge in flood risk management.
Requirements
  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, environmental science, or hydrology.
  • Have a strong understanding of flood risk management principles and practices.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be willing to travel and work outside normal office hours as required.
