About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Problem Solving Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of business areas within Aston Martin, including Research and Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyze daily Product Defect Reports (PDRs) from our global dealerships, identifying and categorizing issues and creating statistically based reports.
  • Work closely with the lead engineer to select key topics for further investigation and resolution, and create problem definition sheets to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are rectified and resolved in a timely manner, escalating any issues that are not progressing or resolved.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge and persuade when required.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Arrangements:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7am - 4pm, Friday: 7am - 12pm.
  • 100% site-based, with occasional ad hoc travel to our St Athan factory or dealer network.
