About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equine Yard Technician to join our team at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. As a key member of our Equine Department, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional experience for students, commercial users, and ensuring the highest standards of horse welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Equine Department in the day-to-day running of the Equine Unit, assisting with the supervision of students and practical tasks.
  • Supervise student liveries and contribute to the hosting and running of International Equine Events and commercial bookings.
  • Work closely with the Equine Team to maintain a safe and healthy environment for horses and students.
  • Participate in staff development lessons to improve and develop your riding ability.
About You
  • You will be a team player with high standards of horse care and the enthusiasm to motivate students and maintain our professional standards.
  • You will have a BHS Stage 3 or equivalent qualification and experience in a large equine yard setting.
  • You will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
