About the Role:
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Media Team, assisting in the delivery of our top-tier social media management services. You will work closely with the Social Media Strategy Lead.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned social media expert to become part of an award-winning team, engaging with some of the most thrilling projects in the industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. A personable, adaptable, and diligent work ethic is essential, as is the willingness to support team members as needed. Given the nature of the live entertainment sector, flexibility for evening and weekend work is required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement comprehensive social strategies for various agency clients.
- Effectively manage social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that resonate with audiences.
- Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the creation of engaging social media content.
- Identify and manage opportunities for capturing visual content, including photography and video.
- Craft compelling social media copy that aligns with client branding.
- Engage with online communities to foster interaction and growth.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Create and analyze performance dashboards for regular reporting.
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on project impacts.
- Stay informed on trending topics and identify relevant opportunities for clients.
- Keep abreast of developments in the social media landscape.
- Be prepared for occasional evening and weekend commitments.
Your Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in social media, preferably within the performing arts or entertainment sectors.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Experience in capturing photography and video for social media platforms.
- A strong interest in theatre and the entertainment industry, including current trends and news.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on copywriting and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and online communities.
- Experience in an office setting, including administrative tasks and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
