Job Summary:

Gregory Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team on a casual basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering loads to various businesses, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from businesses
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring secure transportation of goods
  • Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone to provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience in delivering loads to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be a team player with good communication skills
  • Have good geographical knowledge
