Electrical Site Supervisor Job Description

A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee electrical projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, with excellent people management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  2. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and senior management to ensure smooth project execution.
  3. Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning.
  4. Follow local building codes and safety regulations when performing installations or repairs.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to electrical team members.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1 & 2, or 2330 Level 2 & 3, 2382-18 - 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & testing qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role.
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent people management, communication, and teamwork abilities.

SMSTS, SSSTS, or NICEIC qualified supervisor qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

This is a working role, with the successful applicant expected to complete manual work while also supervising a team of highly skilled electricians/electrical mates.

Job Details:
  • Full-time, Permanent
  • 40 – 60 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability
