Thales is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our Defence Commercial, Legal & Contracts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively managing and directly influencing our bids and projects.
About the Role:- Provide advice and recommendations to the business on commercial issues, risks, liabilities, and opportunities.
- Develop commercial propositions for major win-business campaigns.
- Support senior management in commercial negotiations with customers, consortium partners, and sub-contractors.
- Manage issues and disputes arising with customers in conjunction with the Legal function.
- Commercial background in the defence sector, with experience of managing contracts/risks and/or a legal background combined with commercial experience.
- Demonstrable experience working within a complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-site organisation.
- Multi-disciplinary qualifications e.g. LLB, Engineering, Finance, Programme Delivery – advantageous.
- Adept at building and managing relationships across all levels and throughout the identify, bidding, negotiation, and delivery phases of bids/projects.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.

- Half day every Friday, usually finishing around 13:00pm.
