Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, designing, and implementing embedded software primarily using C programming language.
  • Contributing to the selection of processors, modules, communication protocols, and real-time operating systems for new product lines.
  • Participating in system design, encompassing both hardware and web interface components.
  • Conducting design testing and validation processes.
  • Providing product support during the introduction and trial phases.
  • Working with ultra-low power products utilizing 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers, along with wireless, cellular, satellite communications, and GPS technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient in C programming with a strong emphasis on embedded systems.
  • Experience in designing low-power embedded systems, including considerations for cellular/satellite communications and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability for significant system designs or contributions to larger projects.
  • Familiarity with electronic hardware.
  • Experience in creating design documentation, including requirement specifications, design documents, and test specifications.
  • Knowledge of change control processes, including the creation and detailing of product change notes.
  • Experience in systems design within a highly regulated industry.
  • Degree in software engineering or electronics.
