Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated warehouse operator with experience in operating reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts, along with a valid forklift certification. Join our expanding team at Team Support Staff, where we value skilled individuals who can contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and surrounding areas, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Fulfill daily operational tasks, including managing dispatch, receiving goods, and preparing finished products.
  • Support production activities as required.
  • Prepare bulk and partial goods for production processes.
  • Follow directives from the Warehouse Supervisor and Team Leader.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and document findings, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Complete all scheduled warehouse checks as outlined.
  • Coordinate the disposal of production waste efficiently.
  • Assist with tasks in the sampling area as needed.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and external transport services to ensure timely order dispatch.
  • Perform any additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts (candidates with experience in either are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to learn and utilize an internal computer system.
  • Relevant experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in stock management.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Dependable, diligent, and detail-oriented.
  • Capable of working efficiently and accurately while following established procedures.
  • A collaborative team player who supports colleagues within the department and the organization.
