Senior Associate - Corporate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our thriving corporate team in Cardiff or London.

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships, supervising and supporting the development of junior lawyers, and working effectively under pressure to tackle tough decisions and present innovative ways to help clients.

Our corporate team provides a full-service offering, including transactional experience across M&A and Private Equity. We have a large team, comprising 14 qualified lawyers, that are all dedicated to Corporate transactions.

We are consistently towards the top of Experian's Welsh deal list, ranked tier 1 in the Legal 500, and have been shortlisted for Regional Legal Adviser of the Year at the prestigious Private Equity Awards for the last two years.

We're looking for a highly motivated corporate lawyer with recent and relevant experience working on corporate transactions. You will be a strong team player and comfortable working on complex and varied deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Supervise and support the development of junior lawyers
  • Work effectively under pressure to tackle tough decisions and present innovative ways to help clients
  • Adhere to internal procedures and systems of Capital including file / case management, time recording, WIP management
  • Keep up to date with law and practice as part of continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct while generating required practice income
