Fabric Technician Job Description

PRS is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our facilities management team based on a static site in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building and plantroom, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PPM and reactive works, within set time frames.
  • Undertake contractor control duties, monitoring contractors and their workmanship.
  • Oversee electrical and lighting systems, performing new installations, repairs, and replacements.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Desirable experience working on maintenance within a commercial environment, ideally within the facilities management sector.
