Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting, with a strong presence in the UK P&C market. Our Actuarial Practice provides customised actuarial services and strategic insight to support clients in achieving their business objectives. We are currently seeking Actuaries to join our UK team, who will work closely with our management consulting team and actuarial teams across Europe and other regions to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions for our clients.

As an Actuary at Oliver Wyman, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of client projects, including independent reserve reviews, process transformation and automation initiatives, M&A due diligence work, capital and financial reporting, risk management and support, actuarial model conversions and optimisation, and client and industry presentations. You will also have the chance to develop and maintain intellectual capital, including involvement with the latest data science techniques and cutting-edge methodologies from quantitative finance.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant Property & Casualty actuarial experience. You will also need strong modelling skills, with practical experience in at least one coding language (e.g., R, Python).
