Academics is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students when their regular teacher is absent, ensuring they complete assigned work and maintaining discipline in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring they complete assigned work and maintain a constructive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour, using effective behaviour management strategies to ensure students remain focused and engaged
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment
- Take attendance and report incidents as necessary
- Follow pre-planned lessons, ensuring students receive a high-quality education
Requirements:
- Degree educated or previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor
- Confident in your ability to lead a class of up to 30 students
- Enhanced DBS
- Good behaviour management strategies
- Can-do attitude
