JOB OVERVIEW

Wood is currently seeking a Risk Management Engineer to join our team. This position will operate on a hybrid schedule, accommodating approximately 30 hours per week.

The Risk Management Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of risk management within the project, acting on behalf of the Project Engineer or Delivery Manager.

This role is suitable for a dedicated professional who is committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with ACC-STD, which outlines the Risk Process along with Roles and Responsibilities established for the Contract.
  • Initiate the development of the Project Risk Register (PMG-FOR), collaborating with the Project Engineer, client representatives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain the project risk register throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and ensure the timely closure of all actions identified in the risk register.
  • Support the identification of new risks during project execution and formulate corresponding action plans with the project team.
  • Coordinate activities related to Quantitative Risk Assessments as necessary.
  • Generate and distribute all reports pertaining to risk management activities associated with the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience in EPC projects with a solid understanding of contract and commercial issues.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering cross-functional collaboration and building trust.
