We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Ty Cwm, a highly valued provider of care. As a Bank Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' needs and develop services to enhance their quality of life
- Champion appropriate independence and personal choice, developing and reviewing care plans to meet our residents' needs
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are received, stored, and administered in accordance with company policies and legislation
- Build a positive reputation for the Business, liaising professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, identifying and resolving risks proactively
- Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
About the Service:
Ty Cwm is a peaceful and welcoming home for 20 adults with physical disabilities, located in a wooded area near Carmarthen town centre. We offer a supportive and inclusive environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and promoting the well-being of our service users.
Requirements:
- Experience of delivering nursing care within the elderly healthcare sector
- Ability to lead a team, analyse problems, and propose solutions or improvements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
Salary and Benefits:
£20.60 per hour, with flexible working hours and a range of benefits.
