• Gain a thorough understanding of all operational procedures within the Housing Units distribution center and contribute to ongoing improvements by providing regular feedback to management.
• Efficiently unload shipping containers within designated timeframes.
• Inspect and assemble furniture in preparation for dispatch.
• Assist customers with their collections and ensure safe loading into their vehicles.
• Maintain a 'clear floor' policy at all times, ensuring cleanliness both inside and outside of the facilities and vehicles.
• Provide support for any retail operations of Housing Units as needed.
• Ensure all goods are delivered in pristine condition and that all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
• Show a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding quality targets set for the distribution center.
Candidate Requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop
• Punctuality is essential.
