We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
  • Perform any necessary repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Conduct general servicing and MOT preparation
  • Diagnose and repair faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Update all required paperwork and databases

Requirements:

  • Full industry qualifications and a recognized apprenticeship
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of truck and trailer maintenance
  • Commercial licence an advantage, but not essential
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance, and repair
