We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our dynamic team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing your own clinical workload, and contributing to the development of our dermatology services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage your own clinical workload, including covering all types of dermatological conditions for two-week wait, new and follow-up patients, and ward referrals.
- Perform minor operations and participate in sector MDT meetings.
- Contribute to service development, education, and staff development within the department.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in the North West of England. Our dermatology department is a busy and dynamic team that provides care to around 550 adult and pediatric patients per week. We are committed to delivering excellent patient care and are proud of our reputation as one of the best-performing dermatology services in Greater Manchester.
Person Specification- Entry on the GMC specialist register in Dermatology or eligibility for entry within six months of attaining Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training.
- MRCP or equivalent.
- Full GMC registration.
We are looking for a candidate with a broad knowledge and experience of medical and surgical dermatology, including management of acute dermatoses. A particular interest and expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment is desirable. The successful candidate will have the ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients and offer an expert opinion on the full range of dermatological problems.
